Midtown Middle Sem Part 2
Part 2 of the night, we’re retiring at Cafe Ig’s and chilling out major with some yummers margaritas and desserts. Gossip to the max but hey, all in good fun.
A great end to the week. And I need to upload more photos to my blog. Awhile back, my computer crashed. That would explain the lack [...]

Memories.
When life was simple.
When life was good.
When life was complete.
When you lived for the people you love.
Before it all went down.
Before I went into the darkest times of my life- still fighting each day to make better.
All that is seen and felt, now reduced to memories.

Like how I remember I’d be hearing the dull endless ring of a phone that is never picked up.
I never want to go through that again, I told myself as I walked home half dazed. And as you left in the cab, I silently hoped/prayed you [...]

Beyond The Pink IC?
On Thursday, I was a guest speaker at a sociology forum with the topic on “Beyond The Pink IC: What does Singaporean Mean Anyway?”
I presented a post-modernist approach in looking at national identity, criticizing first Anderson’s concept of the nation as reductive, colonial, and euro-centric. Making use of the direction that McClone (1998) took on [...]

Buddy Buddy..
Today I was thinking back about my NS days! I realised that I really missed all the times there with my friends, despite all the stuff we had to do and the faces we had to see and put up with.
I will always remember my favourite spot to sleep and chill at, the food van [...]

Nap+Perth Diaries #0
Been so tired lately. In all aspects of the word. Typical Monday afternoon, I’m going to sleep now.
And here’s where I’d really want to wake up.
The magic of self taken photos: They only really mean something to yourself because it is in that moment that you capture your own feelings, your own social world, your own memories. And [...]
